Philippikos Bardanes was an Armenian who restored Monothelitism as the official doctrine of Christianity of the Roman Empire. He overturned the Sixth Ecumenical Council, executed Justinian II and his son Tiberius. Failed to stop the Arabs encroaching in the East and Bulgars in the West.
