Every Despot of Epiros, Thessaly and Thessalonika. These were the most prominant of the Byzantine rulers in the west. They were the second successor state after 1204 to come the closest to recapturing Constantinople and although almost completely ifemaral by the end they managed to out last the two other main successor states, although their native Greek dynasty had been replaced by an Italian one.
